Peeping Toms. Rebecca Dane and her partner, like most people, get extremely turned on by watching other people have sex. But unlike your usual couple, they don’t watch adult films to get each other off, instead, they are avid members of a website called Chaturbate.
Webcam. Chaturbate is a website where couples can have sex in front of a webcam while hundreds of people watch and interact with them. Viewers can comment on the performance and give requests or compliments, and some top performers even get paid.
Eye opening. "Watching couples on Chaturbate, one of the most popular cam sites on the Internet, was eye-opening: tons of people getting down and dirty with hundreds of strangers cheering them on from their screens at home, loving every moment of it,” writes Dane, via Your Tango.
Satisfaction. Unsurprisingly, users are usually always masturbating along to the couple having sex, which is what Dane and her partner usually do too. While some of the couples perform on camera for the money, others do it simply for the satisfaction and excitement it gives them to have sex in front of an audience.
Show. "Some cammers seem like they are strictly there for the money while other cammers are having a blast being told what to do by their audience. The viewers get a look into the sexual openness of all these couples. It doesn't matter where they are, or what income level they have — they are part of the show,” writes Dane.
Epiphany. So on one particular evening while Dane and her partner were enjoying their regularly scheduled program, they had quite the epiphany— they could do this themselves. After spending months watching other couples have sex on the internet, Dane and her partner decided it was something they could probably do too.
Voyeurs. As a couple, we are voyeurs. We can spend hours watching couples on camera pleasure each other and interact with their tippers. But after weeks of watching, you start thinking to yourself, 'We could do this.' Then one night your partner turns to you and says, 'I want to f*ck you with the whole world watching.' So we did,” writes Dane.
Set up. While it wasn’t technically the entire world watching, Dane and her partner did get down and dirty in front of nearly 400 people. Their set up wasn’t exactly professional, but they managed to entertain their audience just as well.
Set. "We didn't have an HD camera, we didn't have the right lighting, we didn't know how to pick the right apps but we had each other and we sure know how to deal with that,” writes Dane.
Money. A lot of couples that have sex on the website tend to make a lot of money for their work. But Dane and her partner say they weren’t doing it for the money, rather for the thrill of being able to have pleasurable sex with the person you love, all while hundreds of people look on.
Tips. “We decided to just have fun on camera, doing exactly what we wanted to do. This means we gave away a lot for free our first night, making only $8 the whole night,” writes Dane.
Experience. At the end of the show, Dane and her partner not only had enough money to split a burger and fries, but they were also able to share an extremely incredible experience that most couples would never even dream of doing.
Thrill. "We walked away more in love with each other for going on this adventure together, with the confidence of compliments from the strangers watching us, and the thrill of being exhibitionists that made us go back for more the next night. And then the next night,” writes Dane, via Your Tango.
Fans. Now, Dane and her partner don’t just have a newfound confidence and appreciation for one another, but they all gained an entirely new set of fans who are more than willing to cheer them on as they get it on.
