More Than Half Of Women Do This One Thing During Sex

A study has found that more than half of women do a particular women do that.  So, what is it?  Well as it turns out, more than 50 percent of women watch adult films with their partners during intercourse.  Yes, you read that right.  Surprised?  We were, too.  Read on below to learn more about the details surrounding the study and its surprising findings.

Couples and adult films. After surveying over 1,000 adults, a study by IFOP survey institute and Cam4 — an adult webcam site — found that over half of Americans watch adult films as a couple. What’s more, 66 percent of the study’s participants would consider it if they were asked by a partner. Talk about Amerixxxa, eh?

Men and women. Think it’s just men that want to watch? Think again: The study found that more than half of the chicks currently in relationships said they’d be into the act. What’s more, for women under 25, that figure was even higher, according to Women’s Health. Go, ladies!

Inspiration. So, why is this becoming an increasingly popular trend amongst couples? Well, it’s no secret that when things get dull between the sheets, sometimes you need a little inspiration. Enter adult films. Seriously, what’s an easier way to learn some new sexy moves than by watching the experts themselves get into it?

Inspiration. Proof: The study revealed that more than half of skin flick-watchers — 54 percent — said they’ve tried something they’ve peeped in an adult film. That said, it’s important to keep in that mind adult films are often… well, unrealistic. Still, they’re a good way to pick up some new moves and pointers every now and then.

More research. But women don’t just watch adult films with their partners — they do it alone, too. In 2013, a different study revealed that over half of women — 55 percent — watch clips with sexual content on their own at least once a month, according to the Daily Mail. Take that, fellas!

Once a day, However, the study didn’t end there: Researchers discovered that a surprising nine perfect of the women polled confessed to viewing X-rated flicks daily. And they say men generally have higher sex drives than women… Ha!

Preferences. So, what kind of adult films were the women into? A whopping 73 percent of the ladies preferred to watch the “soft” variety, while 47 percent viewed role play scenarios. Meanwhile, 21 percent got off to fetish-related content.

Couple use. The study, which was conducted by Ann Summers, also looked into adult film use amongst couples. It found that a staggering 96 percent of women have watched skin flicks with a lover. And, of the 96 percent, 58 percent claimed the act had a “positive effect” on their sex life, according to the Daily Mail.

Couple use. Moreover, nearly half of the women surveyed said adult films helped them in terms of switching things up in the bedroom every now and then. Also, they said these videos were useful in "helping them to find the confidence to tell their partner what they like between the sheets,” the Daily Mail reports. Meanwhile, 23 percent said the deed brought them closer to their partner.

Sex tapes. Of course, the survey also delved into sex tapes. After a bit of probing, researchers discovered that a lot of couples are actually turning the camera on themselves. In fact, over a third — 40 percent — of women admitted to making a DIY sex tape with an ex or current partner. (With 66 percent of said women admitting to having filmed it on a mobile device.)

Tips. Want to get in on the fun but don’t know how? Don’t fret: The folks over at Reddit have a ton of tips and suggestions. "I say start with something a little over the top, laughing can easily make way for more sexy times,” user “mcflysher” suggests. "Try ‘Pirates' or similar, where there is a lot of sex but also a lot of horrifically bad acting.”

Tips. User “kobrakae” advises: "First, I highly recommend you don't just sit down and throw on some p*rn and wait for a reaction. That's a recipe for awkwardness. Instead, have it all set up and ready to go, but start off with some making out/foreplay. Once you're all riled up, then throw the p*rn on, and make it part of the foreplay. Watch it together, but continue to fool around (especially you doing fun things to her while she watches). You're already in the context if sexytime and nakedness, which makes things easier.
