2016. The future is here, and thanks to the Internet, there’s more X-rated flicks available than ever before. Indeed, people now have more kinky choices than the vanilla days of yesteryear at the tips of their fingers. In other words, it’s incredibly easy and fast for one to find the exact scenario they want to get off to.

Categories. While adult films have definitely flourished over the years, the question remains: Which type of skin flick gets folks off the fastest? Thanks to the people over at VICE and a leading adult film tube site than rhymes with CornDub, we now know!

Average length time. VICE and said adult film tube site worked together to compile a list of X-rated categories (think: “anal” and “MILF”) ranked by the average length of time videos in that category were viewed. Lost? In other words, the sites teamed up to investigate the average viewing time of clips in different categories.

The strategy. The idea behind their strategy was simple, really: Adult film videos with the shortest average viewing time probably made people orgasm the fastest. Because once someone finishes their business, they stop watching the video. Like we said, simple.

The list. Together, the sites produced a list organized from shortest- to longest-viewed films. The shortest clocked in at about seven minutes and 37 seconds, while the longest made its mark at 11 minutes and 13 seconds. On average, folks watch videos on the site for — drumroll, please — nine minutes and 20 seconds.

Men. So, which categories seemed to get guys off the the fastest? These included “redheads,” at seven minutes and 37 seconds, “Hentai,” “blondes” and, unsurprisingly, “college.” Dudes are just so predictable.

Men. While the previous categories mostly have something to do with physical description, there were other categories that had less to do with looks and more to do with situational context. These included: “old/young,” “mature,” “ gay,” “interracial,” “ebony” and “casting.” Another interesting bit that came out of the study? “Small tits” beat out “big tits” by a whopping 37 seconds for dudes. Ermmmm — so maybe guys aren’t that predictable after all.

Women. How about the ladies? What’s getting them off the fastest? The findings revealed that on average, chicks watch X-rated flicks for longer than guys. Of course, this could just be because women tend to take a little more time to get revved up down below.

Women. The categories that women seem to be into are… surprising, to say the least. So, what were they? Well, “hand job,” “solo male,” college” and “Asian” categories were the four fastest-viewed videos among ladies. Surprising, right?

Longest watched. What’s more, the overall longest watched category for both genders was “old/young.” This means a video involving a 45+ older man having sex with a woman in her teen or 20s. As VICE points out, this category is typically correlated with the tube site’s over-45-year-old viewers; this is also true of the “mature” category, meaning adult films featuring “older” people.

Longest watched. Bryant Paul, a professor at Indiana University who works with the Kinsey Institute, told VICE that this part of data pretty much makes perfect sense. "You'd expect old guys to take a little longer," he told the outlet.

Fastest watched. "The type of content that would likely make people get off the fastest would be the most fertile looking bodies, the most nubile—a combination of high mating and high reproductive value," Paul added. Well, duh.

Other factors. Additionally, as VICE explains, people also primary search for terms that matched their own cultural identity. For instance, terms like “Japanese” are most popular in Japan, and so on. Generally, the data found that films relating to cultures known for their sexual openness — like Latin American and Italians — folks off faster than those relating to more sexually repressed cultures, like Arab and Japanese.

Other factors. "In our research, we've found that Japanese, Arabic, and even Indian content tends to be a lot less hardcore, a lot less explicit. They don't show as much penetration, there's not mutual or reciprocal oral sex," Paul told VICE. "Meanwhile, Brazilian and Latina [adult film] tends to be some of the most explicit content out there. And we know that increased explicitness does lead to more sexual arousal."

Other factors. Of course, as VICE points out, there are two main reasons someone might click out within seconds from a specific X-rated video: The first reason, as we mentioned, is that the video is so hot they got off super quick. The second reason, however, is that they didn’t watch the video for long because, well, they were skewed out by it. So, yeah.
