The retro inspiration is more of a classic spin on a modern look, and that’s why we love it so much. This makeup tutorial shows us how to achieve a modern look by reinterpreting the famous winged eyeliner style, matched with a simple high ponytail and a bandana.

Let’s see how she does it and what you will need to get the modern pinup look. What you will need: Makeup brushes – Liquid foundation – Eyebrow gel – Eyeshadow primer – Nude eyeshadow palette – White eyeliner pencil – Blue or colour of choice eyeliner pencil – Black eyeliner  – Mascara – False eyelashes – Contouring and highlighting kit – Blush – Red lipliner – Lipgloss This makeup looks simple but it’s actually quite a commitment to wear it on an everyday basis. You can absolutely create a lighter version of this look. Shannon uses all the tricks of a makeup artist, she contours and highlights, she applies primer, she uses false eyelashes. You can skip those steps and just follow the instructions for the eye makeup, it will be much easier and quicker to apply in the morning!
